Textiles from Chachahuantla with Jill Vexler, Ph.D., anthropologist, curator, and scholar

Jill Vexler discusses textiles made and worn by Indigenous peoples of Chachahuantla, Mexico, located in the Northern highlands of the State of Puebla. Jill did the fieldwork for her UCLA doctorate in anthropology in Chachahuantla. She shares examples of exquisite embroidery and weavings produced in that region, and presents a photo essay on textiles worn there for Día de los Muertos.
