In the children’s book, Antiracist Baby, author Ibram X. Kendi provides a valuable nine-step guide to building a more equitable world. Vivid illustrations of diverse families (and lots of babies) by Ashley Lukashevsky accompany a poetic text that teaches children core values and a better understanding of human differences. Profiled in the NPR’s “100 Favorite Books for Young Readers,” this sturdy board book gives parents an opportunity to introduce the subject of racial differences to their children and create a lasting impact on their lives.
