Story Time at the Fowler
All around the world babies love to be held close, and parents everywhere need their hands free. Join us for an interactive storytelling experience as we look, listen, and learn in our exhibition Intersections: World Arts, Local Lives. Children of all ages are invited to explore what it is like to ride on a parent’s back across an oasis in the Sahara, along a mountain road in Nepal, and through a rainforest in Brazil in A Ride on Mother’s Back: A Day of Baby Carrying Around the World (1996).
After Story Time, continue to learn about lives around the world by traveling around the globe with your very own passport in a self-guided gallery adventure!
Story Time is a short format, informal storytelling program facilitated by Fowler educators from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm on the first and third Friday of each month. This event is free, no reservation required. All materials will be provided. Meet in the Fowler’s Lobby.
