Story Time at the Fowler
Join us for an interactive storytelling experience as we look, listen, and learn from the picture book What Does it Mean to be Global? (2009, Little Pickle Press). Featuring stories of children from around the world, we will explore the traditions and everyday lives of peoples and objects from Africa, Asia, the Pacific and the Americas in our permanent exhibition, Intersections: World Arts, Local Lives. After Story Time, continue to learn about global arts by traveling around the world with your very own passport in a self-guided gallery adventure!
#StoryTime is a short format, informal storytelling program featuring Fowler educators. This event is free, no reservation required. All materials are provided.
This program will be facilitated by Allison Hernandez, a Getty Multicultural Intern in Public Programs and Education at the Fowler Museum.
