Join us for an interactive storytelling experience as we look, listen, and learn in our exhibition Reflecting Culture: The Francis E. Fowler, Jr. Collection of Silver. Children of all ages are invited to discover Paul Revere’s start as a silversmith in A Picture Book of Paul Revere, by David A. Adler (1997).

Story Time is a short format, informal storytelling program facilitated by Fowler educators from 11:30am–12:30pm on the first and third Friday of each month. This event is free, no reservation required. Meet in the Fowler’s Lobby.

About the Exhibition

Comprising 251 objects representing 16th through 19th century Europe, Great Britain and the United States, Reflecting Culture: The Francis E. Fowler, Jr. Collection of Silver interprets silver in its social contexts. Gleaming vessels from renowned workshops—such as those of British silversmith Paul de Lamerie (c.1800), Russian jeweler Karl Fabergé (c.1900), and American patriot silversmith Paul Revere (c.1760)—highlight important styles and techniques.
