In this Vietnamese hip-hop film, Mai, a ribbon dancer from the countryside arrives in Saigon and befriends Kim, a street dancer. The promise of a better life leads their dance crew to a big competition, but a romance threatens to derail Kim’s plans.

Part of the series Freestyle: Global Hip-Hop Dance on Film. Beat the summer heat in the Fowler’s Lenart Auditorium with three feature-length films that showcase contemporary hip-hop and dance from three continents. Free and open to all.
