
KAOS Theory – A Collaboration

The Fowler teams up with cultural and community organizers LA Commons, KAOS Network, and Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles to present a pop-up concert in Leimert Park Plaza. Arts educator, filmmaker, and Kaos founder Ben Caldwell curates a nonstop lineup of rap, hip hop, and percussion artists in association with Project Blowed. Don’t miss Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, Bananas, Darryl Moore, DonKingski, El Ray, Faze Liv, iFresh, Medusa, Mel, MYKA 9, Najite Agindotan, Rene Fisher-Mims, Sachii, Tha Juice Joint, and Verbs.
Relax and enjoy an afternoon of FREE music, and stop by the unique shops and eateries located along Degnan Boulevard next to the plaza. Leimert Park Plaza is located at 4395 Leimert Blvd, Los Angeles. Pay lots are located along 43rd St, between Crenshaw and Leimert, a 5-minute walk from the plaza.
This concert is supported in part by the Nissan Foundation and The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation, and is organized in association with the exhibition Art, Honor, and Ridicule: Asafo Flags from Southern Ghana from Southern Ghana, on view through at the Fowler Museum at UCLA through February 12, 2023.
