Dharmendra Soni is a contemporary silversmith whose work was acquired into the Fowler’s permanent collection on the occasion of the Museum’s 2017 exhibition, Enduring Splendor: Jewelry of India’s Thar Desert. Dharmendra is a master craftsman in silver and gold. His great-grandfather made jewelry for the royal family of Jaisalmer, and his father continues to advise the royal family, evaluating their jewels and facilitating sales.
