B.D Soni is one of four contemporary silversmiths featured in the exhibition Enduring Splendor: Jewelery of India’s Thar Desert.
A master craftsman and expert in traditional and contemporary design, B.D. oversees a family business in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and has participated in the Smithsonian Folklife Festival for many years.
This selection of handcrafted jewelry is largely silver and gold and several pieces are inlaid with precious stones.
