A master craftsman and expert in traditional and contemporary design, B.D. oversees a family business in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and has participated in the Smithsonian Folklife Festival for many years. He was one of four contemporary silversmiths featured in the exhibition Enduring Splendor: Jewelry of India’s Thar Desert.

This selection of handcrafted jewelry is largely silver and gold; several pieces are inlaid with precious stones.
