Fowler Out Loud: UCLA Music of China Ensemble

The UCLA Music of China Ensemble, presents concerts, lectures, and instrument demonstrations. For this event, the ensemble will play traditional and contemporary Chinese music including Kun Opera singing; silk and bamboo music; and solos on Dizi, Erhu, and Zheng.

Fowler Out Loud is an evening concert series that invites UCLA students from various disciplines to perform at the museum.
Support for Fowler Out Loud comes from the UCLA Office of Residential Life.

This gathering marks the opening of a collaborative exhibition that connects contemporary Māori textile artists from Whakatōhea with an ancestral kaitaka (cloak) in the Fowler Museum collection.
