Fowler Out Loud: UCLA Bluegrass String Ensemble

For some of the finest pickin’ and singin’ to be found this side of the Mississippi, be sure to check out the UCLA Bluegrass String Ensemble. A crowd favorite, this student bluegrass ensemble returns to Fowler Out Loud with its nostalgic sounds of Appalachia and early America. Join the Ensemble for some toe-tapping tunes and a dance or two!

This gathering marks the opening of a collaborative exhibition that connects contemporary Māori textile artists from Whakatōhea with an ancestral kaitaka (cloak) in the Fowler Museum collection.
