Fowler Out Loud: Poetry Workshop with Colleen Hamilton-Lecky
Poetry and sacred ritual are interwoven through chanting, prayer, and sacred phrases in diverse locations and contexts around the world. Touching the Sun will focus on the power of orality, encouraging participants to speak truth to power and ideas into existence. Utilizing the exhibitions on view, this poetry workshop will point to artworks in the Fowler as a starting point to consider historical links between art and spirituality.
