Postponed: Fowler Out Loud: Maddie Showonek

May 28, 2025 | 6:00PM - 8:00PM

Due to unforeseen delays, we must postpone this event. We look forward to sharing a new date soon.

This performance, showcasing personal stories drawn from Maddie Showonek’s roots, will highlight the diverse ethnic heritage of UCLA students, expressed through dance, and create a space for cultural expression and connection. The evening will celebrate global traditions while engaging the broader UCLA community in a dialogue about identity and heritage. A universal language, dance bridges past and present, blending traditional influences with contemporary movements.  This program will inspire appreciation and understanding of different backgrounds and foster a sense of unity through artistic expression.

Fowler Out Loud is an evening concert series that invites UCLA students from various disciplines to perform at the museum.
