Fowler Out Loud: Kyodo Taiko
IN PERSON
Kyodo Taiko, founded in 1990, is the nation’s first collegiate taiko drumming team. Named for the dual meanings of kyodo—“family” and “loud children”—the group shares the vibrant art of Japanese American taiko drumming while celebrating and promoting Japanese American culture.
This concert takes place in the museum’s outdoor Amphitheater (unless otherwise noted). Seating is on the grassy area, and we encourage you to bring whatever helps you be comfortable, such as a chair, mat, blanket, or cushion. Enjoy the music under the sky with your friends and community!
Fowler Out Loud is an evening concert series that invites UCLA students from various disciplines to perform at the museum.
