Catch UCLA-based indie rock band 9 Ball live at Fowler Out Loud! Featuring Fiona Kuo (vocals), James Blue (lead guitar), Jai Raman (keyboard & saxophone), Aiden Cheung (drums), and Leo Ellsworth (bass), the band brings high energy and genre-spanning talent to the stage. Known for crowd-pleasing covers and their growing catalog of original music, 9 Ball blends rock, pop, and jazz influences into a dynamic sound you won’t want to miss.

This gathering marks the opening of a collaborative exhibition that connects contemporary Māori textile artists from Whakatōhea with an ancestral kaitaka (cloak) in the Fowler Museum collection.
