Fowler in the City: SeenUNseen with Alison Saar
SeenUNseen, a group exhibition curated by artist Alison Saar at L.A. Louver, builds its energy around the idea of Spirit Portraiture, giving face to the intangible energies that infuse our world. The artists gathered in this show are believers, agitators, healers, and mediums, channeling power and narrative from history, folklore, politics, and ancestral inheritance. Saar’s own installation draws on Yoruba stories, layered with Greek myths.
