Family Jam: Masquerade!

Celebrate the masquerade traditions of Mardi Gras! Enjoy music and make your own fancy mask in celebration of Joli! A Fancy Masquerade from Sierra Leone.

Drop-in on #FamilyJam, an interactive performance featuring musicians, artists and other performers from all over the world. Families learn dance moves, songs and stories from a variety of cultures.

No reservation required. Family Jam is free of charge.

Parking available in UCLA Lot 4, 221 Westwood Plaza at Sunset Blvd.
Upon entering Lot 4, turn left into the Pay-By-Space area. Parking is $3/hr, max $12/day.
Automated pay stations accept $1 or $5 bills and credit/debit cards.

This gathering marks the opening of a collaborative exhibition that connects contemporary Māori textile artists from Whakatōhea with an ancestral kaitaka (cloak) in the Fowler Museum collection.
