Dance Workshop at the Fowler: 4:30–5:30pm

As part of the fourth annual Day of Armenian Music, Arts, and Culture at UCLA, the Fowler will host an outdoor community dance workshop highlighting azgagrakan (ethnographic) shourchbar’s in the amphitheater. The day will conclude with a screening of two films, followed by a panel discussion moderated by professor Zareh Arevshatian, UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television.
Conversations with Armenian Woodwind Makers (2020, 20 min) directed by Armen Adamian, director of the UCLA Armenian Music Ensemble.
Academy Award-winning documentary The Last Repair Shop (2023; 39 min), directed by Ben Proudfoot and Kris Bowers.
