
Contemplative Art Viewing
Mindfulness educator Mitra Manesh leads this workshop in the exhibition Summoning the Ancestors: Southern Nigerian Bronzes. Contemplative art viewing uses mindfulness practices to explore the relationship between art and the self. Manesh is a graduate of UCLA’s Mindfulness Facilitation Program, offered through the Mindfulness Awareness Research Center (MARC) at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
