Common Threads: A Fiber Art Experience

Fowler & CAFAM on the Town
Two concurrent exhibitions examine working with fiber today: Uncommon Threads at the Fowler and Kay Sekimachi: Simple Complexity at the Craft & Folk Art Museum (CAFAM). Box Project co-curator Lyssa Stapleton and cafam exhibitions curator Holly Jerger tour both exhibitions demonstrating the diverse innovations of these artists. At CAFAM participants will also work with artist Mimi Haddon to create their own fiber sculpture. Limited seats available. $60 general and $50 Fowler & CAFAM members (includes workshop materials, refreshments and round-trip shuttle from the Fowler).
