Visit the Fowler’s art-making station and make a paper poppy mobile at the UCLA Mathias Botanical Gardens Clarkia Flower Festival. Clarkias—which produce charismatic pink and purple blooms—are native to California.” The California poppy is an iconic flower prominently featured in the Fire Kinship exhibition at the Fowler through July.

The all-day celebration will include live music, educational activities, food vendors, and more. The Garden’s Clarkia trees will be in full bloom, reflecting the diversity of California’s native flora.
