
Art and Science: Bringing Egypt’s Magic to the Museum with Museo Egizio Director Christian Greco
The Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy, holds the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities outside of Cairo. Dr. Christian Greco, the museum’s director, examines the discovery of these artifacts and the reunification of burial assemblages. He also discusses how Egyptologists and scientists collaborate to re-create archaeological and historical contexts. Reception to follow. Co-presented with the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA.
